Oh hey, Brave won the Oscars for Best Animated Film. :D I like that show. (Yes, I don't say. xD) It's a story after my own heart. But I can only wish certain familial relationships are better. =\

Random subject change!

My internship ends tomorrow and results are on Friday, but... I don't feel a thing. D: Oh my word, I'm only panicking about not feeling anything. ._. Or is it denial? HMM. I do believe I'm just excited about other things! Finally being able to move on is a good feeling, especially since I've disposed of my notes oops.

Oh dear. That sucks. That really sucks. So many people died on a hot air balloon flight in Luxor. ): Why is life so fragile? -sigh- If you've ever wondered why I'm agnostic, this is one of the reasons. If I were a designer of 'intelligence', I'd have all the different kinds of intelligence, including the emotional kind! If 'I' existed, I'd have more compassion. Much, much more. Either I'd make the world a happy place (which might be for my own pleasure o_o) or not create the world at all. I agree that the challenges and fragility of life force us to grow stronger and treasure our lives, but if there was someone there to create it, why would they include all these flaws?

Argh that's enough introspection for the day! (... and I've just had an idea for a creationist story. O: )

Right. Back to wai~ting. And more waiting. -sigh- ._.

 

I have space to stretch my legs!

Finally, some leg room! I haven't sat at my desk and typed for a long, long time. Not since my mother threw my other desk away, effectively evicting my stationery, calculators, greeting cards, plastic bags and post-it notes (not exhaustive). To cut the long story short, many brown IKEA boxes were moved into my room like caravans onto an empty lawn. It's no wonder my nose acted up, since I had trouble cleaning behind and under these boxes without hurting myself. As you can see from the picture, my desktop (no, not the one on my PC) isn't completely clean yet.

Next challenge: organise my wardrobe. Then I might have somewhere to shove the annoying boxes eheheh.

Actually, I figured that I might as well go around my house purging things. ._. My mum might not like it though! On second thought, that's an understatement. -SIGH- Never mind, I'll start on things that belong to my sister and I first then, since she won't mind a cleaner environment, as long as she doesn't have to lift a finger.

Let's leave the real world for a while, shall we? My blog and desktop are so clean compared to my room yay~ The ability to change the look and arrangement of virtual things with just a keyboard (and for free)  is really wonderful! But I've learnt that being a web developer is no small feat from my time at the design house. O:

I think the dust in my room has settled by now! Bye~

It's been cold lately, hasn't it?

It's been so cold that I've been waking up every morning not wanting to wake up. If you don't already know, my body runs a thermostat. For some reason, the heat from the morning sun is the best alarm clock there is! But thanks to the strange weather (the wettest February in years, in fact!), I fully awaken only 15 minutes after my alarm rings. -.- Which makes me tardier than I usually am. -SIGH-

I think lower temperatures increase my amount of laziness. Unfortunately, my room is quite unsightly at the moment, since my mum is still adamant about keeping my JC notes when I'd like very much to clear it all out. ....I should just sell some to the people at Bras Basah complex. Or throw them into those yellow recycling bags that appear at my doorstep on Thursdays. Actually, the latter is a better option since I'm not supposed to distribute notes from my school.

Oh well, being the procrastinator I am, I shall leave that for tomorrow~

One of my assignments for the day is to build a (fake) terrarium for a photoshoot. o.o It looks pretty good from the front though the back is ugly. At the moment, I'm waiting for the 'ok' to dismantle the terrarium and pot the plants properly. ._. It's so cramped I doubt the plants can survive. As for the animals, they were never alive anyway.

The pantry table's really messy now. xD Look at the daiso bag of soil. And my half-empty cup of milo. D: (Oh my, soil?! In the pantry?!) But I'll have to go clean it up soon. :D

We should have let the polar bear loose in the tropical rainforest too. But we were worried it would pass out and die from dehydration and heatstroke.

My co-worker suggests letting them live on this ledge by the pantry. I think they might be happy there, the pantry's quite warm. At any rate, the temperature is much higher than my seat.

Oh. The sad plants are blue (or red and green) because they're waiting for some soil to be put into their pot. Poor plants.

-SIGH- On days like this, I've to resign to the fact that I'm an idiot. -.- Just gave myself two hairline cuts. You'd never guess how that happened! (To save your brain from having to attempt any death-defying leaps from rectangular containers, let's just say I stuck my hand into a jar with a metal rim to wash it, and twisted a sponge in it.) No, I don't have a photo for that.

The fact that I'm half ill isn't helping hahahahaha. It's weird though, I don't recall hanging around anyone sick. Hmm. I guess it's really due to all that torrential rain HAHA. ...my sister says I just passed my (half-a-) cold to her. But usually when my family members catch my cold, the symptoms are x10 or something?! She was running a 39 degree fever. o_o

I, on the other hand, can't seem to recover completely or just fall sick already! =_= The halfway there feeling isn't helping ARGH. I feel thoroughly sick but I have no real symptoms. Perhaps the fatigue is a withdrawal symptom. O_O

But seriously, I've been a bit out of sorts since last night! .___. Had a migraine and the remnants of it the next morning. Speaking of which, I tripped because my foot got tangled in my bag when I got up to go to the toilet ahaha. Pffft my strange colleague asked me if I even remembered falling because I gave him a blank look. xD Could just be my regular clumsiness though.  HAHA but then I couldn't finish my porridge(?!) so I'm probably in a not-so-regular state.

YAYYY A REPLY. ^^ But oh no, an illegal reply. O: Haha I feel better now, but my sleepiness has yet to override the strange feeling~ D: I wonder if weekends are less busy by any chance. o.o

Eh damn I think I pissed a rather important woman off. o_____o Argh, I'll think about it when my brain is back.

...I think what I need now is a distraction. Correction, are distractions. I think I'll go flop around in the library tomorrow. Hopefully, I can burn time planning an itinerary to my mum. Oh. I should go sketch something haha~ That definitely gets rid off more than a few hours. xD You can pray the people in the library don't catch my cold-that-turns-into-fever oops. >< I shall aim to finish reading my gift over the next 14 days. ^^ (Hey wait a minute, that means it's actually more than 2 weeks! O: )

Come to think of it, I should return Venus her watch too! D: Otherwise some violent pokes might be my retribution. :p

No seriously. Part of the reason why I haven't posted recently is my inability to remember my password HAHAHA. Goodness me. o___o

I finally gave up and wrote it down! YAYYYY. According to my father, passwords are stupid and should be simple. He told me the other day that he wanted to invent a program that manages passwords! (But some app developer beat him to it.) I come from a strange family. :D

Ahhh I shouldn't be posting at this time but there's nothing better to do at work. I could finish my poem or read my book (I think it's the best birthday present ahaha~ :D But I feel bad making you spend money on me. ><) or draw something (no, not the game) but... oh well. Since someone requested some entertainment, I might as well post. (Or you can call the above paragraph an excuse.)

Although it didn't end that well, that was quite a nice way and a nice place to spend a day. Complete with warmth, a book, tea, a bed and red eggs. ^^ I thought about it and yep, can't ask for more~ -sigh-

But speaking of red eggs, I just discovered today that most people don't know about the red eggs and red yeast rice (I'm trusting google to translate here). It's a tradition in my family (on my mother's side) to eat the eggs and soup made from the rice with noodles on special occasions, including birthdays haha. :D Strangely enough, my mother doesn't like the taste of it while my sister and I do! o.o

I guess I shall end here for now! Still feel guilty slacking during office hours. o_o
