Rant. ._.

:D Yay the world is just awesome.

Want to guess what I do to kill time in the holidays? xD Watch documentaries. You get to see all these places you'd never normally see or perhaps never get to see in our little bubbles. ._. It's intimidating at times too, with all the internal conflict and poverty and Ebola and bird flu and I shall stop listing and scaring myself. The environment we exist in is also awe-inspiring! It has this self regulatory system and everything fits in so perfectly. ._. At the same time, it can be unpredictable and wash/blow/shake/burn everyone away and to ashes at any time. ... ... ... But we'd be recycled. o_o

Here's the part everyone won't find a connection to, I wonder how people can be picky about where they go for a holiday. D: Isn't it amazing in itself how we can even fly to different parts of the world? And wherever you go to is a break from your routine lifestyle, a new discovery. What's to complain about that? -_-

Whoo it's cold today. x) It's threatening to rain outside my window.

I'm
a Ravenclaw!

Hahaha what? Got this from Ching Yee's blog. ^^

I fail at html. -_-

SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO GET YOUR BLOG LINKS UP BEFORE I PUT THIS FACE ON --->

Nah not really. But I do need help. =) Pretty please with a chocolate stick on top. ('Cause cherries don't seem to be as popular as they were 10 years ago.)

Long walks are fun!

Although this cat looks scary, it's actually overly friendly! ._. That's why I've so many shots of it walking closer.

The sky was cool. xD

Never knew tomato-like fruits grew on trees. ._.

We disturbed this cat that was sleeping. It chases us away with menace. D:

Chairs (with a lack of elderly folk).

No idea how it got up onto the shelter! o_o

This one my sister calls Kit-Kat. xD Its idea of posing is strange, I know. D:
Eh 《如煙》is a nice song! But if you watch the video you may feel like crying. D:
Yes I have nothing much to say today.
I'm not sorry if I bore you.

Ah.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY YI TING! <3

Thanks for being such a wonderful friend who is funny, burns midnight oil with me, joins me on my loner recess-es and sharing an interest in interesting books. :D Congrats on no longer being a minor!

Eheh sorry I didn't switch on my computer yesterday.

That aside, the philosophy book concerning Plato, platypuses and general humor ( as Sarah and Venus might remember from Monday) is as the cover says, a joke. xD

Here's an example:

A little old Christian lady comes out onto her front porch every morning and shouts, "Praise the Lord!"

And every morning the atheist next door yells back, " There is no God!"

This goes on for weeks. "Praise the Lord!" yells the lady. "There is no God!" responds the neighbour.

As time goes by, the lady runs into financial difficulties and has trouble buying food. She goes out onto the porch and asks God for help with groceries, then says, "Praise the Lord!"

The next morning when she goes out onto the porch, there are the groceries she asked for. Of course, she shouts, "Praise the Lord!"

The atheist jumps out from behind a bush and says, "Ha! I bought those groceries. There is no God!"

The lady looks at him and smiles. She shouts, "Praise the Lord! Not only did you provide for me, Lord, you made Satan pay for the groceries!"

What the heck? xD The joke is supposed to show the different points of view believers and atheists hold, and so the can't get into a proper argument 'cause their starting point is different and hence there is no basis of comparison. But technicalities aside, the joke is funny, no? :D

Ho hum. I'm hungry! =\ Well, I'm off for lunch~

Do the honours. You tell me what happened. ._.

That was... a mighty strange way to wake up. ._. But it sure is more effective than any alarm clock though.

As it goes, I had the strangest dream. ._.

It starts of with me in a staff room for goodness knows what reason! D: (I soon realise I almost forget myself but wait a little.) The place is unfamiliar, and I get lost (being directionally challenged as I am) walking about into strange teacher cubicles of which the adjective applies to both the teachers and the cubicles. I realise it isn't my fault I'm walking about aimlessly in circles, it just what the place was intended to do! The whole place is like a maze. @_@ Still with me?

I feel uneasy about my surroundings in general (well, it is a maze. ._.) and find an empty room to hide in. Cardboard boxes line the walls erratically and a worn out table and a couple of broken chairs are in there too. I look out a window and realise the school (as my subconscious tells me it is) is barricaded with a high wall. Not to mention the place is eerily quiet. And quiet. ._. No students anywhere from what I can see. I look around more in panic and see a stairwell close by. Checking the coast is clear, I try to open the door which leads to it and it opens. o.o What joy! Following which there is an announcement requesting someone to check on that stairwell. Ah. Killjoy. Anyway, this disturbs me so I run down and down and bump into the person meant to check on the stairs. Thankfully, she doesn't drag me by the collar and tie me up but is surprisingly nice and seems to glow from excitement that someone isn't affected by 'their scheme' and is trying to escape. HUH?
Anyway, she hurries along and I'm about to continue running when I hear struggling and dragging from the floor below. It's dark and I can't quite make out what's happening but another student who seems to be Yi Ting is in the clutches of some man. Thud. The door closes. But that can't be right? o_o I tell myself I'm imagining things and run to the ground floor. I try not to look too suspicious and find a class to blend in with.

There's a break in what happens here, but it continues with me hearing an announcement regarding Hsu Yi Ting's capture for attempting to break out. WHAT. ._. Oh great, so now I've dragged her into a pot of water I unintentionally boiled (if that's logically possible). Guilty and worried, I take it upon myself to get her back.

Another gap in my memory or the dream itself, and here I am, at a stairwell. I depress one of those white squarish buttons our school has to open the door. I look back and damn! Careless mistake! A teacher in the vicinity smells a rat (or a penguin, since I suppose they smell fishy) and tails me. 'Ms Tan...?', she calls. I speed up, trying to make my footsteps sound like heels, and click the door open on the second floor as I pass it, in hope that she would fall for it. Apparently, this one's not stupid. I pass the 3rd floor and open another door. I'm almost at the top floor and out of option when another male teacher pops out from outside on the 3rd floor and I hear him ask her why she looks so flustered in relief as I slip out the 4th floor. I flee down the corridor and down a different staircase to the 3rd floor, praying it'll make it harder for them to find me. I climb into an empty classroom through the window to rest and get them off my tail for the time being. I wait for a long time (relatively speaking), watching the clock from beneath the side tables, until I hear more than a couple of sets of footsteps go by. I look out from behind the classroom door, and notice those opposite have the curtains drawn, so I draw the curtains I just notice in the class I'm in. By the way, I realise that the classroom is mine. ._. (This makes some kooky sense since it the first class if you turn left in the science block, you know?) I find my belongings, and am about to take them with me as night falls. ._.

Sometime in the middle of the night, 'cause I'm obviously in no mood to be out like a light, I get up and try again. In case you're wondering, it seems the staff rooms are all on the 4th floor, so I reckon Yi Ting would be held there. Anyway, I go up to the 4th floor again, and peer into a room leading to the office. I sense someone coming so I duck behind the back door of the room so he can't see me. The teacher that was tailing me before is sitting inside the room at a desk. The room is practically decorated with colourful files. ._. They start to argue about something I can't quite hear, and the male teacher is so fed up that he takes some solid and dumps it into a test tube of liquid (both of which he found on the table. Tsk tsk, lady teacher sure keeps some dangerous things around), protects his respiratory system with a handkerchief, and sticks the test tube under the woman's nose. She faints. o.o Apparently that gives me an idea for chloroform so I go to the science labs. ._. Don't ask me why a school laboratory would have chloroform in its inventory, but then again, the world in the dream is warped, no?

Yeah. Anyway. I get chased again and since being chased is boring let's cut to the chase and continue with what happens after it. This time, I'm sneaking around the 4th floor again, waiting for a teacher's meeting to start. Loitering around the toilet, I seize the opportunity to knock a teacher out (not with chloroform, I didn't manage to get any~ D: But crudely, with a stick. THWAP.) to steal her clothes, and lock her in the janitor's storeroom. ._. I walk out of the toilet and see a crowd of students walking up the stairs. One of them is Sai Ying for goodness knows what reason. I go up to her and call her name. She looks at me with a puzzled look on her face, and tells me she doesn't know who I am and says her name is 'Ying Tse'. What?! Yay my dream gets weirder and stranger by the second. -.- I see another teacher walk past, scoot away from the flock of students (they felt like sheep for some reason), act like I'm ambling towards the staff room as well, and hear her mumbling about something being suspicious about people who 'pretend to have a stomachache'. Ah. Perhaps the one I knocked out? ._.

Uh. No idea why I haven't been caught yet either. ._.

Anyway, I sneak off again (somehow back in hongzi and not the ugly powder blue jacket the teacher owned with looked creepily like the new school jacket) and break into a mad dash down the stairs the seemingly incessant crowd of students are walking up. Run, run, run, to the first floor and I run into... Susi?! ._. I left and right and spot Sarah and Ching Yee with her too! Susi, Ching and Sarah are half obscuring the '武' on their jackets with their arms, or by wearing another jacket over. Shrieks of excitement and disbelief break out~ :D But cue the anticlimax. The PA system blares something about spotting illegal wushu jackets 'cause we were disbanded. I scan the area frantically and spot a teacher staring right at us with a microphone in hand. Reflex action: RUN! (through the canteen which has no tables or chairs whatsoever. ._.) We catch up about what we suspect happened to the school and about memory erasing and how wushu people still remember who they are although everyone else has gone cuckoo(whut?) and them holding on to their jackets as mementos by hiding them from the school, which burnt all CCA jackets they managed to get students to cough up or locate while running. The end seems to be in sight; the wall blocks the road to freedom! Eh. Now we jump up a bin for leverage, grab onto a water pipe to swing ourselves halfway up the wall, climb up one of those ladder like metal rungs you see in big storm drains and get over a sharp pokish wire thing. Maybe there was a moat but I wasn't looking on the ground. Yay! ... ... ... Almost. Taking in the surroundings, we're on this sandy strip of ground in between the wall we just climbed and the one in front of us. So we make our descent. Susi, Ching Yee, then Sarah... gets stuck on the wire. To make things worse, cars start rolling out the driveway, and the principal (some uncle going through mid-life crisis and hair loss issues) spots us, gets out of his car and scales the wall too! AH? D: And he's quite fast for an old man. He tugs on Sarah's leg so we kick him a few times before he surrenders and lets go. In the nick of time before reinforcements arrive, Sarah is free and we sprint after the other two. Apparently the cars of the first batch drove after them, so we all take a long meandering route until we lose them and run across the overhead bridge.

And that bridge's the last thing I see before I wake up in confusion. ._.

Ludicrous. Preposterous. Ridiculous. I know. But what can I say? I'm not the one who thought it up~ :D Kinda.

Damn the whole dream is like fanfic material. =_= It even includes cliffhangers: What happens to Yi Ting? Where's Grace and Ah Bean? Why are we running to HC? How come my classroom was deserted? What happens to the other students? What's wrong with the school? By the way, it was expanded with shiny things like glass and metal. ._. But still only has 4 storeys. Which is good.

I should turn it into a story to amuse the person in Taiwan~ =_=

*SIGH* I THINK I JUST MISS YOU PEOPLE TOO MUCH. D: It's boooooring at home! Haha Ching Yee and Sarah you should expand on the idea you fanfiction writers. xD
